Colour My World

"Amazing"

submission: Colour My World
date: October 19, 2009

Once again, a good combination of music, art style and simple animation served to create something utterly awesome. I liked the little mouseover signs, the little things you could activate to add colour...it was really cool. I understand this is more like an interactive animation and not meant to serve as a hardcore gameplay experience but maybe puzzles next time that don't involve clicking everything to solve them? That said, it was cute, amusing, pretty creative and the quote at the end was pretty sweet. Please continue this series, I enjoy the strange world you have created, I'm sure they can only continue to get better.

Sean and Justin

"Funny!"

submission: Sean and Justin
date: September 6, 2009

I actually laughed audibly for a moment there and the entire thing was pretty damn good! Unlike a lot of "random" flash cartoons, your one had one essential factor down: pacing. You found a good joke, milked it for all it's worth and moved quickly on with something else; exactly as it should be. The characters are also quite likable...heh. Very nice, and the animation was pretty good, I would definitely watch this as a series.

fishing man

"Very nice"

submission: fishing man
date: September 6, 2009

It had nice animation, and even though the backgrounds were simple/nonexistant the entire thing still looked really good, the song was also cool (did you make that yourself?) and the style of animation worked well with that. It was funny and quite cute and worth a watch so overall: A very good flash animation. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Pleasure Island 2

"Where's the WALRUS PIT?"

submission: Pleasure Island 2
date: July 25, 2009

That was really bizzare, but the voice acting was crisp, the animation was actually really good, I can't comment much on plot but I laughout out loud so I can't complain there! The music also helped a little too. Overall, awesome work

Raptor Burgers

"I wonder how Randall Munroe feels about these?"

submission: Raptor Burgers
date: June 11, 2009

Really cool animation style, the lack of outlines in certain places was really cool and the music was well chosen too. Really cool concept too, not often you see food made from vicious dinosaurs, and less so in flash animations so you filled a really weird and awesome niche. Lack of dialogue also made it pretty cool too, oh, and if this DOES become reality, hope that the raptors don't get out of control. To quote the guy from jurassic park "Life finds a way". Really cool, please make more.

D-Day Defender

"Very good"

submission: D-Day Defender
date: June 6, 2009

Something about the black soldiers and vehicles against a simple background struck me as particularly cool; just the right number of gameplay mechanics, enough to keep it fun but not enough to clutter it. You always risk controversy when you show things from the Nazis' perspective but this was tastefully done and overall a pretty cool game, I really liked the cutscenes. I think it's good what you've done, not shying away from certain aspects of the D-Day landings. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

Offending people wasn't what I had in mind when I made this, I thought it would be an interesting idea for a game if you witnessed D-Day from the other perspective. Thanks for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

How To Stop a Nightmare

"Freaky, but cool."

date: May 30, 2009

The animation wasn't the best I've seen but the plot, the music and the style created an atmosphere that really DID remind me of nightmares. Sometimes, I get so panicky in nightmares, I CAN'T think of something else but then I take a moment to clear my head in a dream and it all gets better. Very nice dream related work, please make more.

The Scene Of the Crime

"Brilliant"

date: May 29, 2009

There aren't a lot of games out there with that 1930's detective feel to it. The art was kick-arse, the music was apt and the case, if not being terribly original, was interesting enough to solve. Nothing special in terms of point and click games, but I'm a real sucker for old style detective games, so I really enjoyed this, great job.

Hyperboy: Episode 5

"A little corny, but in a good way"

date: May 23, 2009

Reminds me of lots of cartoons from my past merged with a bit of newgroundian humour, and the animation was super. If we're allowed to use that word outside of the 90s...
Really well coreographed fighting, nice relatively funny dialogue and quite an interesting storyline, overall really cool. I look forward to the next one, good work.

-Sandwich-

"Nice"

submission: -Sandwich-
date: May 22, 2009

For a short animation, you actually managed to get in quite a few sandwhich loving situations. I'm more of a peanut-butter and jam guy myself but I could get on board with your sandwhich too. Probably one of the few cartoons you've done without any eddsworld characters, but the animation was crisp, the music was very cool (Parry Gripp has got me searching for him now...) and it was all round pretty funny. Nice stuff.
